Best places to stay near LEGOLAND Windsor

If you’re looking for places to stay near LEGOLAND Windsor, you’ve come to the right place. LEGOLAND Windsor is definitely a favourite family destination in the UK, I’m sure if you are a parent you will have been bugged by your kids to take a trip there at some point.

Most kids love LEGO, even the big ones (especially my husband), and the resort in Berkshire also has over 55 rides and attractions including an aquarium and the new LEGO MYTHICA World of Mythical Creatures which includes the UK’s first flying theatre ride.

So, we know that this is a pretty epic place for families to visit but if you are not local to Berkshire and a long drive is on the cards, you may be thinking about finding somewhere to stay with just a short drive from the heart of Windsor, and the theme park.

LEGOLAND does have two hotels onsite, which include the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel and the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel which allow LEGO fans to stay in a fully LEGO themed room – complete with LEGO models. But if you are on a budget looking for cheap hotels for your short break, or just fancy staying outside the resort, I have put together a list of some of the best hotels within 15 miles of the resort that you can stay in.

It includes luxury hotels, family-friendly hotels, themed hotels, the closest hotel to the LEGOLAND theme park, a great place for the whole family to visit Windsor Castle and surrounding area, accommodation with an indoor swimming pool, and some that are in easy reach of London Heathrow airport.

The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel is a brilliant option for families who want to be right in the centre of the action. We’ve booked to stay one night in one of their LEGO Ninjago family rooms for the boys’ birthdays this year as a surprise and I’m not sure who is going to be the most excited – them or my LEGO-mad husband!

The LEGOLAND Castle Hotel is another hotel onsite and includes an overnight stay in a themed room, theme park tickets, and in-room treasure hunt and a free gift. There is a PlayStation 4 in each room, the kids will get a swim bag and castle ID lanyard and access to the swimming pool and evening entertainment. I do not live too far from here, and can be diverted that way when going to see my grandkids, so am always at a loss when friends ask where to stay if visiting there so found this very useful

THIS came at the perfect time for me, as we’re going to Leogland for Easter (6 year olds request) so it’s good to see which hotels are good for this.
I stayed at Coppid Beach for the BlogOn conference and was pleasantly surprised with the great facilities!
Thank you so much for this post 🙂

I haven’t been to Legoland since I was a kid, but I’d love to go again just to see what it’s like. We’re really lucky that my fiance’s parents live super close to Windsor. It’s good to know that there are good options to stay around there though x
