Why I love slogan t-shirts and tops for myself and family

AD | Disclaimer – This post about slogan t-shirts is a collaborative post with Pixels.

It may have been said before that I tend to dress a bit like a ‘mum’ with the cliched stripy t-shirts and tops that I wear.

I can’t help it, I like them! And the other thing I LOVE is good slogan t-shirts or sweatshirts too.

Okay, maybe I should make a bit more of an effort with what I wear to look stylish. But at the end of the day I like to be comfy. I’m a jeans and t-shirts type of girl. For the day time at least.

Woman with long brown ponytail and rucksack, wears a stripy top and jeans, and stands overlooking the sea and boats with a little boy wearing a stripy top.

I do the school run, I sit at the kitchen table on my laptop, I then do the school run again. And on the other days I am chasing twins around a National Trust garden or some muddy woods or park. I no longer go to the office every day of the week where I had to look smart. I’ve not got that excuse anymore.

Even then I’d only ever wear trousers. If I ever work in an office again I’m going to make the effort to wear dresses everyday instead!

So t-shirts and sweatshirts it is – for daytime at least. Look, I’ve pretty much got enough for every day of the week! Especially as we’re approaching Christmas.

  3. Mama
  4. Outnumbered
  5. Christmas Cracker

And now I’m feeling the need to buy more. I love these ones. Especially the ‘coffee’ one!

Maybe my love for them is rubbing off on my husband too – as he’s got a fair few slogan t-shirts as well. Or maybe that’s just because I’ve bought them for him…

I even dress my twins in them too. People ask me why I put my twins in the same clothes, and the truth is, I only do this about half the time. But when I do it’s when we go out in public as a good way to identify them. Seeing as they like to run off at any given opportunity. Oh and it’s also pretty cute.

But maybe now’s the time to up the game with my t-shirts. Still wear them, but buy some which are more stylish, like these art-inspired clothes.

I’d like to think I’m cool enough to pull them off? Maybe the jury is still out on that one…

Do you wear slogan t-shirts and sweatshirts?
