How effective cleaning of Amtico flooring makes it a great choice for your home

AD Disclaimer | This is a collaborative post, so I may have received payment for including one or more of the links it contains about Amtico flooring.

Luxury wood effect vinyl flooring can come in many shapes and sizes, colours and textures, but the one thing that is not different is the overall quality it provides.

Amtico is a brand world renowned in providing not just the ultimate in terms of luxurious looks to a home but also the safest investment for the future. If having a longer lifespan than other flooring options is not enough, the relative ease in keeping it in tip top shape with maintenance being in very little regular activities.

What exactly is Amtico flooring?

Amtico is a leading brand in hard plastic flooring that perfectly and effortlessly imitates any type of flooring.

It looks and feels exactly like the real thing, be it wood or stone, ceramic or otherwise. In fact, they look so real that anyone who comes over will be amazed to discover that it is not the genuine article. On top of all this it is the perfect insulator to boot.

When it comes to vinyl flooring, Amtico has the market and your floor cornered.

How do you maintain its appearance?

Compared to other flooring options such as carpet or real hardwood flooring, Amtico presents a much easier and quicker way to keep your floors with the appearance they should have.

With a regular sweep of the floor with a household brush you can remove all dirt and dust and simply dispose of it in preparation for the next phase. This is a simple mop of the floor. This can be done with simple warm soapy water or even Amtico’s approved floorcare products so as not to affect your warranty. So much as a few mops a month can keep your floor healthy and looking fantastic.

If you want to go a bit further and apply a deep clean to your floor to keep it in the very best appearance, you can use an approved Amtico floor stripper once or twice a year. You will need to redress it with Amtico’s own flooring dressing and ensure that all dirt and marks from the flooring are gone before layering the LVT.

Help to prevent risk on your flooring

Extra methods can be implemented to ensure your flooring is maximised in appearance and care.

By using protective pads under the feet of furniture you can avoid scratch marks and scuffs that are quite deep, especially for those heavy sofa and chairs that experience dragging around the floor whilst cleaning. This is a headache you can do without as the years progress. As you may buy new furniture it’s wise to ensure that furniture contact areas are wider in order to spread weight.

No matter which lowest price Amtico flooring range you opt for, be it Amtico Click Smart or Amtico Parquet, you will have to consider these options to best secure your future flooring looks bright, classy and perfect.
